Oh, The Limanity!

It really hurts to get a C-/D+ on your first project in a class. To be perfectly honest, I've never been in this position before. I realize where and how I fell short, though...so maybe it's best not to dwell on the subject and just chalk it up to experience.

I did quite well on the non-coding portion of this particular computer science project. But that can really only be attributed to my familiarity with the topic (i.e. math).

Two rough weeks lie ahead of me prior to fall break. I'm going to try and make it through them without further damaging my GPA. Sometimes I question why I'm in this program.

Ten Speed (of God's Blood and Burial)

Coheed rocks my world. They have since the day Christy from ICT forced me to listen to them! I'm making a solemn vow that the next concert I attend will be a Coheed & Cambria concert.

In other, less exciting news, I need a haircut. I look like a pathetic unkempt dog-man.

This weekend provided much needed relief from my duties and obligations as a student. Whenever you get a chance to sing karoke in front of 50 people you hardly know...take it. The Cars will understand--so will Bon Jovi.

You know you should stop writing when you stare blankly at your computer screen for ten minutes.

Stay Tuned For This Important Announcement...

The Art of The Bubble Sort

I'm constatly impressed by mankind's ingenuity and overall brilliance. College has really opened my eyes to a whole new world of information and knowledge.

When you're a kid you never think about or realize just how amazing some things are. For instance, who was the guy who first thought up the algorithm to sort an array of objects in computer science? Most people don't know it...but without that simple piece of code, I wouldn't be able to sit here and write to you as I am now because computers would likely not exist in their current state! Of course, it's probably safe to assume someone else would have come up with the idea sooner or later but you get my point.

I guess this year has really been my first to really understand the true meaning of Isaac Newton's famous quote:

If I have been able to see further than others,
It is because I have stood on the shoulders of giants.

On a slightly less serious note, tonight is pledge dad night at Beta. I'd better get my dollar bills ready!

Wild and Crazy Kids

Do you remember that show on Nickelodeon? I sure as hell do.

Last night was one that I won't forget for quite some time. All I can really say is: Don't listen to what the back of the bag of frozen chicken breasts says...no matter how easy it seems.

I need to shower and shave before I go pick up my tickets for the game.

Until next time...
